Part of our growth strategy is centred around attracting top talent to help us nurture our ongoing success. We are now looking for our new Android Developer.
Reporting to our Engineering Manager, you will join the Android team.
In one of our different offices : Paris/Bordeaux/Lyon/Nantes.
Lydia's Android team is made up of 7 developers. Surrounded by other teams like iOS, back-end and product, we work together to imagine and design the future of payment. Our Android apps are written in Java / Kotlin. As for our code, it does not go into production without being previously reviewed (Bitbucket). With us, the engineers who develop a project are responsible for it. Decision-making is intended to be both simple and efficient, without excessive sticky notes.

The application is made up of a multitude of microservices, in a hybrid environment (private and public cloud).
What you will do :
- Imagine and develop new features while keeping a close eye on those already in production.
- Write and deploy code compliant with continuous integration processes and require.
- Ensure the quality of what you output by thoroughly testing your code and relying on the advice of your colleagues.
- Define the main lines of your projects, establish priorities, prioritize them and keep them.
You are in the right place if :
The ideal candidate for this position will have to be completely autonomous and sufficiently rigorous to like the intellectual gymnastics necessary to the implementation of new functionalities to the code already in place.
- You need to know how to juggle proven technologies to find elegant solutions to new problems.
- You are passionate about the Android universe and you never miss technical updates. You follow Google I / O with adulation and love to experiment, do R&D on new UI and UX components. Your qualities will help us keep our apps fit and our users happy.
- You have a BAC + 5 (University or engineering school)
- You have at least 2 years of experience in native Android development
- You are able to communicate in English with your colleagues. We don't expect a big style, but if you can make yourself understood in writing.
- You are comfortable using Git in continuous integration environments
- You are comfortable using libraries like Dagger, Retrofit, Gson, RxJava, Room and Event Bus
- You have a good knowledge of Clean Architecture and the MVVM pattern.
